Siri Powered Apple Television??
Jobs has said he wanted the simplest user interface you could imagine. But you never thought that he was talking about television did you?
From the WSJ:
Absolutely, it is a guaranteed product for Apple,” I was told by one individual. “Steve thinks the industry is totally broken.
I have no clue what Steve means by the industry is still broken but I’m assuming he means that there are still some things in this generations technology that can be tweaked and optimized better, without buttons, because we all know apple hates buttons. But on a serious note, imagine this to be true. All you would have to do is say a command to your TV to turn on or off, record TV shows, and switch channels. But I I’m not fully on-board with voice commands yet because I grew up with controllers and think pressing buttons are more convenient and faster, assuming your box doesn’t lag when receiving input.. I call a 2012 – 2013 release date of this.
What do you guys think?
