Ninja Loop – Phone Strap (Black) Review
Are you one of those people who are constantly texting, emailing and dropping your phone at least twice a week?
Good, keep reading! I’ve been looking for a solution to this problem myself lately.
The solution? Ninja Loop.
Shout out to Juliana for hooking me up with some Ninja Loops! This product is a phone strap designed in Québec and hand-crafted in Canada (as well as overseas), that provides a secure yet relaxed grip to avoid unfortunate and expensive drops. It’s a perfect solution for you to enjoy a safe and intuitive one-handed solution for your smartphone. Definitely a must-have for those large touch-screen devices! The Ninja Loop Phone Strap will allow you to stop worrying about dropping your phone(s) & allow you to more fully enjoy texting, emailing, surfing & Facebooking.
On to the review…
It came nicely packaged and is really strongly constructed.
It fit perfectly on my phone allowing just enough room to fit 2 fingers under the strap. I have been testing it for a couple days now and haven’t had any issues yet. I can see this as a very useful tool for people who have Carpal Tunnel or who have a disability only allow them to use one hand.. It feels like it’s made out of high quality materials and time will tell if it stretches to the point of not being useful, but I doubt it as it’s rather tight now. I can only use a few fingers under the strap comfortably as I have large hands. I think this product would be appropriate while walking and listening to music or podcasts. Some people don’t like the cases that go on your arm because it’s too hard to change songs or volume easily, so this is a good solution to give you just a little extra grip on your phone while walking. I don’t think it would be good for high intensity activities like running, but it’s definitely capable enough when walking.
My biggest complaint is that a small seam in the material which rubs against my fingers.
I find it very annoying and uncomfortable. This design is better because the single elastic loop has no rough or exposed seams to rub against. Initially you might find the strap can be tight but with frequent use it will stretch slightly, but not so much that your fingers slip out. The adhesive backing stuck perfectly to my iPhone 6 Plus case. The biggest thing is to make sure you place the strap where it is comfortable (so it doesn’t cover any vital ports). If you put the strap right in the middle you might experience a wobble when placed on a flat surface. I preferred to put mine in the middle but off center so now the phone props in one direction but does not rock. I HIGHLY recommend this for Pokemon Go trainers! The cost is well worth it to prevent dropping your phone! Also love the fact their are so many color options. I think black look awesome with my black and white case!
In the end I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend, assuming they had a thin case or were willing to take their phone out of a case to use this strap. Again, I doubt I’ll carry it with the strap all the time, and I don’t think I’d want to try to use it to go running with the phone in my hand, but to read in bed easily and not have to struggle to hold the phone it’s great!
